on October 3, 2009, Fran met the ladies from
the East Baton Rouge Parish Library. Shown

visited as they shared a table and great
food at Drusilla Seafood Restaurant.
Fran visited with "The Queen Bees Book
Club" at Vrazel's Fine Dining
on the
beach in Gulfport, MS, in April
to talk about
her three Avalon Books. The group
meets once
a month to discuss books selected
by one

Stephen Coontz, author of thirteen New York

FLIGHT OF THE INTRUDER, spoke at the Emerald
Coast Writers Conference
on April 2 - 5, 2009, in Ft.
Walton Beach, FL. Fran McNabb and Cara Slaughter
visited with him at the banquet.
On a recent trip to Key West I visited the
Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum. This is
the room where Ernest Hemingway wrote. What
an inspiration to go through the house of
a great writer and see one of the places
where he actually composed!

in my logo from my dock on the
bayou where
